HGV Class 2 Driver – John Penny & Sons

Location: Rawdon, Leeds

Salary: Competitive – Good rates of pay for the right person

John Penny & Sons, a well-established meat wholesaler in Rawdon, Leeds, is looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

About the Role:

• Delivering meat products to customers across the region

• Early morning starts – punctuality is essential

• Loading and unloading heavy meat products – must be physically fit

• Ensuring all deliveries are made efficiently and professionally

• Driving well-maintained Scania and Volvo lorries

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license

• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings

• Previous experience in the food/meat industry is an advantage but not essential
